Where are you located?
Our parent-child studio is located in Midtown Indianapolis.
What are your age requirements?
We accept children age 4 months to 3 years.
Is it necessary for my toddler to attend a regular program?
Education, especially during the early years, need not be formalized. However, many families find that a regular program provides meaningful educational and social interactions which children may not be exposed to otherwise. Additionally, parents enjoy the opportunity to observe their children in our unique homelike space and learn new ways to facilitate developmentally appropriate experiences in their own homes. Unlike most home environments, our parent-child studio is wholly designed for young children to explore without disruption.
What kind of parent participation do you expect?
We view your child’s education as a collaborative effort; thus, parent participation is encouraged and expected. During the first years of life, the relationship between child and caregiver is very important. Therefore, we require a parent or another caregiver to attend class with your child on a regular or rotating basis. If group snack is planned, we invite families to bring snack on a rotating basis or snack for children in your family. We encourage you to help create continuity in your child’s development and to maximize your child’s learning experience by incorporating Montessori principles at home.
Can you help me set up a Montessori nursery, toddler or preschool room for my child at home?
We welcome the opportunity to help you incorporate Montessori into your home or life as a whole.
How much is tuition?
Please contact us for current information regarding tuition and fees, as well as the cost for in-home consultations, supplementary sessions and parent training.
How do I know if Montessori is right for my child?
The parent-child program is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the Montessori philosophy and our integrative approach. As a community of Montessorians, we also welcome the opportunity to connect you with other families who have experienced the Montessori difference.
Do you offer a summer program?
We will begin offering a summer parent-child program in Summer 2016.
