Cincinnati Parent Child Center is a collaborative Montessori-based learning studio for families, the first of its kind in the Cincinnati region. Classes, events and playgroups focus on strengthening and supporting the relationship between caregiver and child during the early most important years of life, including preparation for expectant families.

Bringing Up Baby and Toddler, Too—our Montessori-based parent-child class
for children age 3 months to 3 years and their caregivers
Our Montessori-based parent-child program is the first of its kind in the Cincinnati region. The program assists parents and other caregivers in facilitating developmentally appropriate experiences for the young children in their care. Classes are designed to encourage observation and understanding of the Montessori philosophy in the 21st century. Additionally, each class includes a discussion related to child development, parenting or a similar topic. Due to our desire to provide highly personalized and meaningful learning, we typically enroll no more than 8 children per class. A parent or trusted caregiver must attend each class. Expectant families without children may inquire about joining classes in progress. $175/8 week session; each class is 90 minutes. See calendar below for session dates and times.
Montessori Mornings is a flexible, drop-off playgroup for children age 18 to 36 months, the first of its kind in the Cincinnati region. Classes are led by certified Montessori guide, Aubrey Wallen, and feature developmentally appropriate, research-based Montessori activities. Register for the month or the whole semester by clicking the link below. Due to our desire to provide highly personalized and meaningful learning, we enroll no more than 6 children per class. Tuition varies from $150-200/month; each class is 2 hours. See calendar below for session dates and times.

Toddler Cooking Camp

A love of food and healthy relationship with eating begin with early hands-on interactions in the kitchen with a cherished adult. During this unique parent-toddler cooking camp, you will create six wholesome, nourishing foods with your child while learning simple ways to engage with them in the kitchen. Once the foods have been prepared, you both will enjoy setting the table and practicing grace and courtesy for a shared snack with all of your new friends! From start to finish, each session will encourage a love of healthful foods by modeling the cycle of how to lovingly prepare, share, and clean up after a meal together! Tuition: $175/child includes food and materials.
Arts Camp: World Explorer
Ages: 4-7 (children must be toilet trained)
Dates: June 24-26

Let’s explore the rich and diverse cultures in our neighbourhood! Through teamwork and hands-on processing art, we will learn the art/culture/folklore that inspires many popular Disney movies such as Frozen, Lion King, Moana, Coco, Kung Fu Panda, and Brother Bear. During our music circle time, we will develop our sense of rhythm, motion, and style while jamming with a violinist from the Cincinnati Symphony. Tuition: $90 includes snack and materials.
Nature Yoga Camp
Ages: 3-6 (children must be toilet trained)
Dates: July 8-12
Times: 9:30 am to 12 noon

Through playful yoga sequences, mindfulness games, and collaborative wide games in the outdoor environment, your preschooler will build gross motor skills as they learn strategies to regulate emotions, manage stress, and build empathy and compassion. Nature-based art activities and outdoor exploration develop children’s creativity and resilience. The complementary practices of nature play and yoga build children’s self-control and positive self-concept. This summer, let’s move our bodies and minds in harmony with nature! Tuition: $175 includes snack and materials.
Preschool Cooking Camp
Ages: 3 to 6 (children must be toilet trained)

Your preschooler will experience the joy of cooking while learning valuable social-emotional skills. The simple yet meaningful art of preparing, serving and gathering for a meal is often lost in the busyness of modern life. Each day will present a new challenge and opportunity for guided growth. At the culmination of the camp, a parent or another caregiver is invited to join us for a dessert celebration. Tuition: $175 includes food and materials.

Open Studio is an ideal time for parents and caregivers to come together for conversation while children explore our carefully prepared environment. Highlighted activities are presented in studio, but no structured lessons are given. Pre-registration is required via the link below. Join lead early childhood guides, Aubrey and Tasha, as they tackle tricky topics such as toilet learning, tantrums and discipline during our summer parent workshops. These 90-minute workshops are designed to support understanding of early childhood development and sensitive periods for learning. Facilitators will guide parents in using research-based methods with the goal to make parenting easier and more joyful!
Parents’ Night Out
for children age 12 months to 6 years
Drop your child off for a couple hours while you have a date night, run errands, or just enjoy a relaxing night to yourself. Each Parents’ Night Out includes a seasonal craft, Montessori- and Reggio-inspired activities, and a small snack. If your child has selective taste buds or allergies, please send a snack for your child. Parents’ Night Out is open to children age 12 months to 6 years. Please see studio calendar for themes, dates and times. Pre-registration is required via the link below. $15/first child, $10/additional child.
Boutique Birthday Party
for up to eight children (babes-in-arms do not count toward eight)
Celebrate your child’s special day at Cincinnati Parent Child Center! Our beautifully prepared environment provides a unique and simple setting for small gatherings lasting up to two (2) hours with an additional 30 minutes before and after allotted for prep and clean-up. Activities in the studio are geared for children age 1 to 6. Reserve your time below, and we’ll contact you with details regarding packages. Parties may be booked Fridays from 4 to 8 pm, Saturdays from 2 to 7 pm and Sundays from noon to 4 pm. Please see calendar for blackout dates. Packages start at $175. $50 non-refundable deposit required at time of reservation; deposit applied to rental fee. Families currently enrolled in our parent-child class and active play docents receive $50 off party packages.
