Students will explore different culinary delights, visit our school garden for ingredients, and expand their knowledge of cooking tools and elements. Students will also plant seeds and learn about plant care. This class incorporates botany, chemistry and practical life skills.
Wednesday
Junior Naturalist
The Junior Naturalist program is a multi-week course designed for young learners, inspired by models from the Ohio Certified Naturalist Program. It aims to cultivate an appreciation and understanding of nature through comprehensive coverage of various natural sciences and stewardship. The course covers key areas including Geology, Plant Science, Entomology (Insects), Ornithology (Birds), Mammalogy (Mammals), Herpetology (Reptiles and Amphibians), Ecology, Conservation Stewardship, and Environmental Interpretation.
