Our lab schools offer an integrative, individualized approach to the typical educational experience. Meaningful, sustainable learning is our bottom line.
Our Mission
We seek to facilitate sustainable, meaningful learning in a family-centered setting which celebrates the unique gifts of every child. Following the principles of the Montessori philosophy, we promote an appreciation for lifelong inquiry while encouraging responsibility, independence and respect for self, others and the environment.
Our Mantra
Today and always, we follow the child, and in everything we do, we consider the whole child. Our mindful curriculum combines social-emotional and experiential learning with a strong academic foundation. We promote mastery over memorization, collaboration over competition, personalization over conformity, and intrinsic motivation over extrinsic reward.
Our Model
For us, less is more. We purposefully maintain small learning spaces, class sizes and human resources to create an unparalleled return on investment for the families we serve. Our teachers act as 21st century guides with the autonomy to innovate. Our lab schools are learning labs, 21st century learning centers, microschools and modern one-room schoolhouses in multi-age, family- and community-centered settings. Our model is one of a kind because we know each child is too.
“All learning begins when our comfortable ideas turn out to be inadequate.”
-John Dewey
