Nancibell® Seeing Stars®: Symbol Imagery for Phonemic Awareness, Sight Words and Spelling Program- develops symbol imagery to help improve sight word recognition, spelling and fluency

Nancibell® Visualizing and Verbalizing for Language Comprehension and Thinking® (V/V®)- utilizes gestalt imagery to aid students who struggle to retain and/or comprehend written/oral language, as well as students who have difficulty with written expression

The Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing® (LiPS®) Program- a multi-sensorial program which develops phonemic awareness and helps students to improve their decoding skills

On Cloud Nine® Math: A Visualizing and Verbalizing® Math Program- similar to other Lindamood-Bell® programs, students learn to image and verbalize complex math concepts

The Montessori Method- utilizing a child’s development and natural abilities, this sensory-based philosophy enables a student to direct his/her own learning experiences in an environment which encourages independence and love of learning

Orton-Gillingham- both the Montessori Method and Lindamood-Bell® learning programs draw many parallels to the Orton-Gillingham approach to reading instruction; this method utilizes similar sensorial pathways to learning: visual, auditory and kinesthetic

Test Prep- unfortunately, taking tests is a large part of a student’s academic career; if your child experiences test anxiety or has difficulty studying, we can incorporate test taking/study skill strategies into any of our individualized programs

How We’re Different

Meridian Learning offers individualized, one-on-one tutoring in a workbook free environment.

Our multi-sensory based tutoring programs are uniquely tailored to students. Beyond content tutoring, we develop the skills necessary for easier future learning. All instruction is hands-on and interactive, allowing students to realize their full capabilities at their own pace.

Many learning centers are bottom line driven, frequently maintaining a large volume of students and/or charging exorbitant hourly rates. Meridian Learning operates with the belief that every student deserves our undivided attention, and we keep enrollment low in order to accomplish this goal. We also believe that money should not be a determinant of academic success. As such, our high quality programs are a fraction of the cost of most other private tutoring providers.
