Our Preschool Prep program is a three-week transition for children who will be new to Meridian Montessori and is designed to help ease the transition from home to school.
Most schools offer a brief orientation. We have found that a longer, more gradual start better supports young children as they adjust to the environment and daily rhythm. Children attend in a small group and are introduced to the classroom through practical life work, independence, and social development, with a focus on helping them feel comfortable and ready for the school year.
The program is guided each summer by our founder and director, alongside an older student who supports the younger children in a mentoring role. Participation is not required, but it is strongly recommended for new students.

Admission Requirements
We typically accept children ages 2.5 to 4 years. Children should be toilet trained and able to manage basic toileting with minimal assistance.
