🗺️ Where do you offer in-person consulting services?
In-person consulting is available within our Midwest region. We regularly meet with clients in the Cincinnati, Columbus, Indianapolis, and Chicagoland areas. We’ve also supported clients in Kentucky, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
If you’re located outside this region, we’re happy to offer virtual or hybrid consulting to meet your needs.
🏡 Do you provide support and/or training for homeschooling families?
Yes. We offer both in-home and online consultations for homeschooling families. Support may include curriculum design, parent coaching, or supplementary tutoring sessions.
We also host group workshops by request, which are beneficial for both homeschooling and non-homeschooling families. Please contact us for upcoming dates or to request a customized session.
🌱 Can you help parents who want to start a microschool or homeschool pod?
Absolutely. Since 2008, approximately half of our consulting clients have been parents. As one of the earliest providers supporting the transition from homeschooling to microschooling, we bring deep experience in legal structure, design, and long-term sustainability.
Our approach helps families clarify their goals, define their model, and build small programs that align with their values and capacity.
🏫 Can you help schools or religious institutions establish microschools within their existing communities?
Yes. We design customized spaces and personalized curricula for a wide range of learning communities. We honor the ideals of partner organizations, including state and religious standards, and collaborate to align our goals with those of existing programs.
Our goal is always to strengthen what’s already working while making room for innovation and child-centered learning.
🔄 Do you provide support for teachers and leaders seeking to convert a traditional school or daycare into a microschool?
Yes. We offer virtual consulting services for teachers and leaders nationally and internationally, as well as in-person support for individuals and groups within our Midwest region.
Each engagement begins with a conversation to identify what’s most important to your community, ensuring that every transformation reflects both your mission and practical realities.
💡 What does consulting include?
Every consulting session is personalized. Depending on your needs, support may include:
• Strategy sessions and vision planning
• Curriculum or environment design
• Program structure and legal considerations
• Marketing, enrollment, or staff development guidance
• Implementation follow-ups or review sessions
We adapt the format and focus to your goals — no two engagements look exactly alike.
⏱️ How do I decide which package is right for me?
Each package serves as a flexible framework.
1 Hour ($99): Ideal for a focused strategy session or specific question
3 Hours ($249): Best for developing short-term plans or policy guidance, often over multiple sessions
10 Hours ($950): Comprehensive support through planning, design, and implementation
If you’re unsure which to choose, we’re happy to discuss your goals before you purchase.
🧭 What happens after my consultation?
Each engagement concludes with a summary of key recommendations and next steps. Many clients continue with additional sessions or transition into a mentorship relationship for deeper, ongoing support.
You’ll always leave with clarity on what to do next — and a partner who’s available if you’d like to go further.
⚖️ Do you provide legal or financial advice?
While we help clients navigate legal and financial considerations, Meridian Learning is not a law or accounting firm. We can, however, help you identify what professional guidance may be needed and how to integrate those steps into your planning.
