Meridian Micro Farm welcomes dependable adults who are interested in supporting adolescent learning through stewardship, agriculture, and meaningful hands-on work.
Volunteer opportunities may include:
• Assisting during seasonal community events
• Supporting infrastructure projects such as raised beds or the high tunnel
• Contributing a specific skill or workshop (after orientation and shadowing)
We are especially seeking individuals who:
• Can commit to scheduled dates in advance
• Arrive on time and prepared
• Respect adolescent development and student-centered learning
• Are comfortable working outdoors and collaboratively
All volunteers begin with an orientation and trial shadow period before leading any activity.

About Meridian Micro Farm:
Meridian Micro Farm is a student-run micro farm, learning lab and urban Erdkinder in Cincinnati, Ohio. It’s designed for students ages 12-18, including those preparing for or attending dual-enrollment College Credit Plus, trade or vocational programs, and online schools. Our curriculum is rooted in entrepreneurship, life skills, community service and sustainability. Completely attuned to the needs of adolescence, the Micro Farm serves as a meaningful community for teens in their passage to adulthood.
