Assumption of Risk I, the undersigned, fully understand and acknowledge that participation in sledding activities involves inherent risks, dangers, and hazards. These risks include, but are not limited to, the following: Slips, trips, and falls; Collisions with other participants, objects, or obstacles (such as trees, fences, or rocks); The unpredictable conditions of the hill and surrounding terrain, including icy patches, changes in elevation, and weather conditions; Injuries, including cuts, bruises, sprains, broken bones, and other serious injuries; The risk of serious injury, paralysis, or death. I understand that these risks may be caused by my child’s actions, the actions or inactions of others, or the conditions of the premises or the equipment used. Release of Liability In consideration of being permitted to participate in sledding activities at Stanbery Park, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Meridian Learning, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives (collectively referred to as the “Releasees”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, loss, or damage sustained by me during participation in sledding activities at Stanbery Park, including but not limited to those caused by the negligence of the Releasees. Indemnification I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all claims, actions, suits, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including attorney’s fees, arising out of or resulting from my child/ren’s participation in sledding activities, including any claims brought by third parties arising from my actions. Acknowledgment of Understanding(Required) I have read this Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks, and Indemnity Agreement, and I fully understand its terms. I acknowledge that I am signing it freely and voluntarily and intend my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
